Benson Mule Days Honors the Farmer’s Best Friend

The small Town of Benson will welcome 60,000 visitors September 20-23, for the 58th Annual Benson Mule Days. Visitors will traverse on horses, mules, wagons and carts throughout the weekend’s celebration.

Kicking off the festival will be up & coming country music singer Jeff Bates on September 20th. On September 21st, enjoy the “Mule Competitions”, including mule pulls, jumping, mule race, and Best of Show. The “Grand Champion Mule” is chosen and leads the parade on September 22nd.

Following the parade, a Bluegrass show is held at Benson Singing Grove with arts and crafts and carnival with a midway. Street Dances and Rodeos are held Friday and Saturday. For event schedule call (919) 894-3825 or follow the link below.
